Syndicate Casino is a super stylish online casino that launched in 2018. It adopts a crime syndicate theme, looking like a gambling den tucked away at the back of a 1920s bar. You’ll see a fair share of Tommy Guns, Fedora hats, and Flapper dresses.

It may have been 100 years ago, but this is still one of the most stylish eras in history.

The casino blends all of this style perfectly and creates a fantastic aesthetic that feels very authentic and relevant. It’s not just limited to the logo and the name, as so many unique themes are, and it plays a role in everything from the casino’s bonuses to its games and its VIP Scheme.

Basics

Syndicate Casino targets many major gambling regions. It seems to attract the bulk of its customers from Australia and New Zealand, but also focuses on Canada, South Africa, Ireland, Finland, Germany, Spain, and Norway. These regions don’t have their own super-strict gambling regulators and so players can gamble here providing the site is licensed in Curacao.

The same can’t be said for players in the UK or Sweden, however, as they have some of the strictest local online gambling laws in the world. Unless a casino is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission or the Swedish Gambling Authority, they cannot offer their services there. It’s also worth noting that while Syndicate Casino is available across most parts of Australia, players from New South Wales cannot join due to strict local laws.

Direx N.V. oversees this online casino. Syndicate Casino is a small part of the company’s vast iGaming enterprise, one that encompasses some of the biggest and best Bitcoin casinos we have reviewed. See below for more information on Direx and for our full Syndicate Casino review.

Bonuses

The main bonus at Syndicate Casino is spread across four tiers and offers a total of €/$1,000 and 200 Free Spins, although the exact offer may differ depending on your location. It’s a matched deposit bonus and it is structured as follows:

  • 125% up to $125 + 20 Free Spins a Day for 8 Days
  • 75% up to $250
  • 50% up to $400
  • 100% up to $225

All bonuses are subject to a wagering requirement of 40x and you need to deposit a minimum of $/€20 each time to qualify. Wagering requirements must be met in 7 days, otherwise the bonus will expire, and the maximum withdrawal allowed for the Free Spins is just €/$50. It doesn’t specify if this is limited to a batch of 20 or to the full 200, but we expect that it is referring to the latter.

As always, when playing through your wagering requirements, make sure you stick with slots, as most table games and Live Casino games either don’t count at all or only count for 5%. Some slots won’t count either, including progressive jackpot games like Mega Moolah and, for some reason, slots like Guns ‘n’ Roses, Call of the Wild, Jimi Hendrix, Jack Hammer, Moon Princess, and Jack Hammer 2.

Loyalty Scheme

All players are included in the Syndicate Casino VIP Scheme. They start at the Beginner level, but as they collect points and advance, they can make their way through multiple gangster-themed levels, including Associate, Gangster, Capo, Soto Capo, Consigliere, Underboss Boss, Don, and Godfather.

If you’ve always wanted to experience life in the mob, to work your way through the ranks without shooting, killing, and doing all that other messy business, this is your chance. And just like a real Scarface advancing through La Familia, you’ll get richer with every step that you take.

Games

Syndicate Casino is home to more than 30 developers, from massive iGaming powerhouses like NetEnt, Evolution Gaming, and Microgaming, to beloved boutique creators like Spinomenal, Big Time Gaming, and Endorphina. There’s no Betsoft, IGT, or Playtech listed here but they are really the only two notable omissions, and when you have several dozen top creators and hundreds of great games to choose from, their absence is barely noted.

You have stacks of slots, table games, and Live Casino titles to choose from, with the latter provided by developers like Evolution Gaming. It’s a huge selection and it means you’ll never be short of options.

All Syndicate Casino games are available on mobile and desktop. We typically prefer the latter, but we tried both when reviewing this casino and found them to be just as good. Use the filters to browse by game type and to find ones that suit you best.

For instance, there are filters that allow you to search by your favourite provider, as well as ones that let you choose between options such as Bitcoin Games, Slots, Live Casino Games, and more.

Slot tournaments are always a welcome addition and you’ll find plenty of them here at Syndicate Casino. They are known as “Slot Fights”, but that’s just a way of working them into the overall “gangster” theme and the tournaments themselves work just like they do on other online casinos.

To enter one of these “slot fights”, you first need to log in to your account, enter the “Slot Fights” section, and then choose your game. Every time you make a real money wager of €0.5, it will count towards you total score, and help you advance up the leaderboard.

Players who finish in the highest positions are given prizes, including Free Spins, Bonus Credits, Cash, and more. You can see your progress as you play, but bear in mind that any financial awards you receive in these tournaments will expire in just three days.

Owners

Regular readers of Coinbuzz could be forgiven for thinking we had an obsession with Direx N.V. This Curacao-licensed operator has created a couple of dozen online casinos and we have reviewed most of them. As noted previously, this is not by design. We just make it our goal to cover the best, biggest, and most popular online casinos, and it just so happens that the majority of these are Direx.

That doesn’t mean we like them all, however. For instance, while we love Bitstarz Casino (and we’re not alone in that, as it’s one of the most popular Bitcoin casinos in the world) TTR Casino was less impressive. In other words, it gets a lot of things right but is far from flawless and just because it’s a Direx casino, doesn’t mean it’s perfect.

Most of the online Bitcoin casino industry is controlled by Direx and Araxio, another developer we have covered extensively here at Coinbuzz.

Araxio have a little more to offer non-Bitcoin casino players, have more variety with regards to their themes, and are responsible for top casinos like BoaBoa, which is either named after a soft Chinese bun or the Portuguese word for “Good”. We’re not really sure, but its mascot is a penguin wearing sunglasses and a hula skirt, and we love it.

Payment Options

Syndicate Casino accepts several country-specific payment methods, suggesting it is happy to go out of its way to appeal to members worldwide. For instance, Canadian players can deposit and withdraw using Interac Online and Interac e-Transfer, while NeoSurf, Zimpler, CashtoCode, and a host of other localized payment methods are available for players in other countries.

The Skrill group of payment options, including Neteller, PaysafeCard, and Skrill itself, are also available here. But, let’s be honest, if you’re reading this Syndicate Casino review, it’s because you’re looking to use cryptocurrencies, and Syndicate Casino has plenty of payment options waiting for you.

Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash are the main ones, but players are also invited to use Ethereum, Litecoin, and Dogecoin. The minimum deposit amounts are fixed to the equivalent of €/$10, and there is a maximum of between €/$1,000 and €/$6,000, depending on the payment methods chosen. Similar limits are in place for withdrawals, but in this case, the minimum is doubled.

You will not be charged for a deposit or withdrawal (although you may be charged by your provider) and there is a pending time of less than 24 hours, so you should get your money relatively quickly.

PayPal is also listed on the site’s payment options. However, we couldn’t find this ourselves and we checked using several different proxies. We can only assume that the text declaring this inclusion is outdated or taken from another site. Alternatively, it could be that PayPal is only available in a few regions and that we simply couldn’t locate them.

User Reviews

Syndicate Casino has attracted some overwhelming support from its players and has done incredibly well since it first launched back in 2018. This is always good to see, but what’s even more comforting is the fact that Syndicate Casino’s support team has responded to all reviews and complaints, ensuring that players are appeased and all problems are dealt with quickly.

It’s something that many Direx casinos do very well but it’s always worth mentioning, because just as many top online casinos get it all wrong. WooCasino is a great example of a casino that gets this all wrong. It’s one of the only Direx sites we have encountered that doesn’t make an effort to respond to reviews (good or bad) and it doesn’t bode well for the casino’s reputation.

There are certainly no such issues with Syndicate Casino, however, and that’s great news if you have a problem with the site and, for whatever reason, they refuse to deal with it. It’s unlikely that you’ll find yourself in this situation, but good to know that you have that option if you need it.

FAQs

Should I Join Syndicate Casino?

Is it the best site we have come across? No. Is it the worst? Definitely not. Syndicate Casino is part of a large group of casinos that does a lot of things right and is better than the average, but falls short of perfection. Other sites in this category include the impressive Zet Casino.

What is the Limit at Syndicate Casino?

You are limited to just €4,000 a month. It is very low but should still be okay for small stake players.

Is Syndicate Casino Good for High Rollers?

No. The withdrawal limit means that this is not ideal for high rollers.

Is Syndicate Casino Available in the UK?

You cannot join Syndicate Casino from the United Kingdom and won't even be able to access the homepage.

Does Syndicate Casino Work in Bitcoins?

Yes! In fact, you can use several popular cryptocurrencies on this casino.

Conclusion

We love it when online casinos try now themes and actually have the skill to pull them off. Sometimes, it doesn’t work, and it looks like they’ve just Googled a popular trend, found a way to make it connect with casino gambling, and then paid a cheap copywriter and designer to throw something together. With Syndicate Casino, we actually like the way it is designed and written.

However, it is not without its issues. When searching through the games, for instance, we were greeted with a massive SEO header that declared “Australian Gambling Games in Syndicate Casino with Quick Withdrawals”. That’s a desperate attempt for a search engine ranking if we ever saw one. We’d be surprised if that was the work of a copywriter and are more inclined to think it was pieced together by a marketing team.

And we’re not just having a dig at the odd placement and word choice. The main issue is that we were using a Canadian IP from a UK address, so it wasn’t relevant.

There are a few other little odd stylistic choices like this. We feel like all of them have been implemented to add something to the casino and most have failed.

For instance, on the sidebar, you’ll see updates of all slot wins. Usually, these features are used to highlight big wins, and those were certainly included, but we also saw many wins of just a few dollars flashing up.

To make matters worse, these wins showed the player’s username, seemingly without express permission, and on several occasions that username was simply the player’s email address, one that was essentially flashed to every single player and prospective customer!

Of course, we’re nit-picking here, but only because we really liked this casino and found it to be very promising. It could have been near perfect if it had fixed these issues and made some very small tweaks. It might not have been up there with the immaculate FortuneJack Casino, but it could have certainly made it into our top 4.

But because these issues are present, and the casino doesn’t have bonuses big enough to overlook them, it is just a little better than average in our opinion.

I havent actually used this site yet and have only just seen the reviews but i wanted to make a point about the casinos responding to reviews. i completely agree and yet many casinos just dont get it.

I had a very bad experience with a site a few years ago and the support just wouldnt listen to me. i was banging my head against a brick wall. I tried to get through to someone higher up as i was confident that the issue would be resolved if a real human actually saw it but there was no such option.

i left a review and a complaint on a third-party site and nothing happened. in the end, i had to go through the regulators and it was resolved as soon as a mediator from the casino saw the issue.

i feel like the first line of support is ill-equipped and poorly trained and that’s true for all casinos. it’s also understandable. but by giving a more experienced team the task of responding to reviews and complaints, they will see those issues before they spiral out of control.

these days, the first thing i do before joining a new site (or even using a new retail company) is check sites like trustpilot and ag to make sure they actually respond to customers. if not, i don’t use it.

so, kudos to syndicate for doing it.

this is a pretty stylish site and that is what drew me in the first place.

the games and the bonus made me stick around though.

its just a shame that there dont have betsoft as i think that the style of this site reminds me of slotfather which is a betsoft game. thats kinda the reason that i joined in the first place!

good stuff all round and i think you will like this one. glad to see that it got a good score.
