Burning Bet is another crypto casino that is owned and operated by the team at Altacore N.V. In recent months, we’ve had a bit of a mixed experience with Altacore Casinos. While we enjoyed playing at sites like Wild Tokyo, we found that the lack of focus on crypto products or bonuses was a little bit of a problem. Burning Bet, on the face of it, looks like a fairly similar set-up to these other sites, though, it definitely shifts its focus onto sports betting. Let’s take a more detailed look and see if it can deliver a good online gambling experience or see whether we run into the same issues.

Basics

As I mentioned in the introduction, Burning Bet shifts its focus away from online slots and games and onto sports betting. As such, the majority of the site is dominated by this, with footballs and flaming objects flying around when you are loading things up. The fire and sports theme of the page is not too intrusive though, and for the most part, the orange and black colors complement the page well.

Navigation is kept fairly simple, with the homepage being dominated by sports betting offers, and all of the other pages easily accessible via a toolbar at the top of the page. The games and sports betting sections themselves are easy to get around, with both of them coming with a selection of different filters to help you find exactly what you are looking for.

In terms of other key elements on the site – the operator is licensed by Curacao, which means that you don’t need to worry about your safety when you are playing here. Much like other Altacore sites like Stelario Casino, there are plenty of other safety features in place as well to make sure you have a smooth experience.

Slots & Games

According to the about us page of Burning Bet Casino, the operator is home to around 3,000 different slots and games. All of the usual suspects have games on offer here including the likes of Microgaming, NetEnt, Yggdrasil, and iBetSoft. On top of this, the operator does also have games available from many smaller companies too including names like CQ9 and Ho Gaming. Personal favorites like NoLimit City and Relax Gaming also make an appearance in what is quite a diverse selection of online slot games.

The operator is home to around 3,000 different slots and games

The slot selection is easy to navigate and there are several different categories you can scroll through. This includes a jackpot section as well as one dedicated to new releases. Sadly, the jackpot section doesn’t feature major names like Mega Moolah, which is always going to be a disappointment.

Burning Bets Slots

As I always do, I’m going to point out the lack of provably fair games or Bitcoin slots on this site. The operator needs to up its game in this respect, with none of the Altacore Casinos I have reviewed recently offering any of these. While this may not seem like a big deal to some players, the fact that the site offers crypto options means that it is really missing out by not offering this.

You don’t just need to rely on the casino games though. The site is also home to a good range of live casino options. Like most top online casinos, the site is powered by Evolution, with all of the standard live casino games that they bring. Thankfully, though, there is some variety here, with the site also working alongside Ezugi and some other developers too.

As we’ve mentioned, the casino is heavily geared towards sports betting, and that takes centre stage when you first visit the site. The sports betting options here are strong, with the site offering markets for tons of top sports. Obviously, football (soccer, to our friends across the Atlantic) tends to be the most popular, with all of the top divisions represented here.

Burning Bets Sports

It obviously aims to keep up to date with all betting trends too, with several eSports being available to bet on. You will find markets on popular games like DOTA 2, Counterstrike, NBA 2K and more here. There is also a live-betting section where players can put money on events as they unfold.

Bonuses & Promotions

Given that the operator puts a focus on both casino games and sports betting, it should come as no surprise that there is a good range of offers available here. For the casino welcome bonus, players are able to claim bonuses for the first two deposits and can also choose which bonus that they claim for each one. The bonuses break down as followed:

  • 1st Deposit: 200% up to €50 for deposits of €20+ or 200% bonus up to €100 + 100 free spins for deposits from €50+
  • 2nd Deposit: 90% bonus up to €500 with deposits of €20+ or 90% up to €500+ 200 free spins with deposits from €50+

This flexibility is a nice touch and the total bonus amount that can be claimed is nice and generous. The wagering requirements are set at 30x both the bonus and the deposit amount though, which is a little high and given the amounts on offer, could take some time. The maximum withdrawal from the bonus is €500 though, which is fairly generous if you’re incredibly lucky.

Burning Bets Promotions

This trend of handing out big amounts continues with the sports betting welcome bonus, which allows players to claim 100% up to €300 for the first deposit. Elsewhere, there is a weekly fire bonus which allows players to claims 155% bonus and some free spins, as well as a Wednesday bonus and a weekly reload offer.

The site also regularly updates its sports betting bonuses and will do its best to keep up to date with sports events. For example, you can expect to have a bombardment of bonuses coming your way during the World Cup or Super Bowl weekend. The terms & conditions for these always tend to be less demanding as well.

As I’ve pointed out in a lot of my reviews recently though, there is a lack of crypto-based promotions for the site. For me, if you are going to have crypto options, offering bonuses for crypto just makes sense and it encourages players to use them as a deposit method.

Burning Bet User Reviews & Customer Support

Burning Bet only launched in 2021, and as such, I found it very hard to pin down too many reviews for them. The only real feedback I could find online was positive, with some users praising its usability and the range of games and sports betting options that it has to offer. There is the odd complaint about withdrawal times but nothing more than what you find with other casinos.

The casino itself has not taken the time to respond to any feedback on the internet, which is always something that I recommend doing. That said, the feedback is still very sparse at the time of writing, so it’s hard to criticise too much in this respect.

Burning Bets Help

As far as customer support goes, my experiences here were fairly good. While the team did leave me waiting around for quite a while, they still delivered the goods in the end and were friendly and helpful. They can be contacted in three different ways – e-mail, live chat, and phone. I tested out both the live-chat and e-mail services and received a response to the latter within a day, which is what I would expect. The services are available 24/7, which is always a selling point and something that is often praised in our online casino reviews.

Deposits & Withdrawals

There are plenty of great deposit and withdrawal methods available at Burning Bet, but I encountered the same issues with this part of the casino as I did with the previous Altacore sites I reviewed.

When it comes to depositing with Fiat methods, the minimum that can be deposited at one time is €20, while all crypto methods require a minimum deposit of €50. Needless to say, if you are a crypto player, this can be quite frustrating, and even more so if you are playing with a smaller budget. The site appears to do very little to try and get players to play with crypto.

That frustration aside, the crypto options you will find here are fairly solid. The operator allows players to play with Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, and a handful of other cryptos. It does seem as though the casino keeps up to date with crypto trends if nothing else.

Burning Bets Deposit

Like other Altacore sites, you are given the option of buying crypto via UTORG. I have never used the service myself but presumably, the casino is benefitting from this deal and that’s why deposit options are so high. As I’ve never used it, I’m not going to comment on its exchange rates and charges but I would make sure you do ample research on it if you intend to use it for exchanges.

Withdrawals appear to be the same across the board, with the minimum withdrawal amount being set at €20 regardless of whether you are using crypto or fiat methods. This just adds to the frustration of the higher deposit minimum. There are no charges applied by the casino though and the time to wait for withdrawals tends to be between 1-5 business days.

Final Thoughts

Like all of the other casinos owned by this brand, our experience here, on the whole, was quite mixed. There is no denying that the slot selection here is solid, and the sports betting market is also well-worth writing home about. Elsewhere, though, the casino doesn’t really offer much that can’t be found elsewhere. The bonuses are good but are soured by high wagering requirements, and the lack of focus on crypto is disappointing.

The higher deposit amount for cryptos definitely leaves a bit of a sour taste and there is no next to no emphasis on this part of the experience at all. This is something that I have found with all casinos operated by Altacore, with crypto really just feeling a little bit like an afterthought.

From a customer experience perspective, the site functions well and the mobile website is also very easy to use. While this doesn’t necessarily outweigh any of the issues highlighted in the paragraph above, it does go someone to making for a more pleasurable experience. On the whole, this is quite a mixed bag of a casino.

I always like it when sites give you options to choose from with the welcome bonuses. It’s one of my favorite things about 5 Gringos. Not quite as good as that site, but it’s still a good effort and I love this feature.

Good, but not great. Joined recently and haven’t spent a lot of time here, but I’ll keep playing and see if my opinion improves.

Good review. It is a solid site. Not perfect tho and it doesn’t seem to be making much of an effort to improve either. Ihope they haven’t given up on it.

This was one of my first introductions to crypto casinos and it’s still one of my faves to be honest. Not sure where I first saw it, but I prefer it to big names like Bitstarz these days
