RocketPlay Casino launched in 2020, becoming the latest addition in the huge and immensely popular DAMA roster.

the latest addition in the huge and immensely popular DAMA roster.

DAMA N.V. is one of the highest-rated operators here at Coinbuzz. It is responsible for many of our top-rated casinos and while it’s not always perfect, it’s one of the most consistent brands we have covered. After all, we’re talking about the owners and operators of Bitstarz Casino, a brand that sits at the very top of our Bitcoin top list and has remained there since this site first launched.

Needless to say, when I saw that DAMA was behind RocketPlay Casino, I was delighted and very optimistic. The question is, is RocketPlay Casino worthy of being mentioned in the same breath as casinos like Bitstarz, or is it one of the rare DAMA flops?

Basics

RocketPlay Casino is a very attractive online casino that uses big and bold colors, along with fluid animations, crisp graphics, and a thoroughly enjoyable style.

It’s not quite on par with the graphic masterpiece that is Cadabrus Casino, but it’s better than 90% of the casinos that I review.

I’m not a big fan of the “Winners” list that appears on the casino game screen at all times. It think it’s a little redundant considering many of the wins it mentions are just a few quid, but it’s not completely useless. You could argue that it provides some social proof and that it also shows players what kind of nationalities are playing the casino at that time.

The mobile casino also looks great. I personally play on desktop, though, and while it’s often a neglected area, it’s something that the RocketPlay Casino developers have clearly invested a lot of time in.

Software and Games

Like all good Bitcoin casinos launched in the last few years, RocketPlay Casino has a multitude of developers on its roster and these provide a vast and varied selection of slots, table games, and Live Casino games. The video poker games—and poker games in general—are a little on the short side, but everything else is available in abundance.

Some of the most exciting developers here include Microgaming, Betsoft, Thunderkick, Pragmatic Play, Wazdan, NetEnt, Playson, Spinomenal, and Red Tiger Gaming.

One of the great things about these slots is that they are searchable by Megaways, Provider, Bonus Buy, and by both High Volatility and Low Volatility.

Most casinos allow you to search by Bonus Buy, Provider, and Megaways these days, but it’s very rare to see filters that include volatility and I think it makes a great addition.

Bonuses and Promotions

The RocketPlay Casino Welcome Bonus is very good and deserving of praise. Some of the site’s other bonuses are worth mentioning, as well. But I have a couple of issues with these bonuses and the Welcome Offer in particular.

Firstly, when you visit the site, the bonus will be shown as a pop-up in the top-right corner. It tells you that you only have a few minutes to collect the bonus offer before it expires.

I have seen this trick used by countless crappy retail sites and it’s annoying as hell. I’ve never seen it on casinos, but I wanted to give the site the benefit of the doubt. I waited to see what would happen when the time expired and, as you can probably guess, the bonus was still there.

It didn’t disappear. It didn’t stop being available. In fact, not only was it still shown in the Promotions section but even the popup remained, albeit without the timer. When I refreshed the page and the cache, the timer started again.

It’s a minor thing, but it’s still annoying. We’re talking about a business that needs to create a certain level of trust between operator and player, and little tricks like this don’t help with that.

The second issue I have is one that I’ve had with a number of other sites. The RocketPlay Casino Welcome Bonus is advertised as a 300% Welcome Bonus. Based on that, you’d be forgiven for thinking that a €100 deposit would net you a bonus sum of €300. In actual fact, there are two bonuses, one for 100% and the other for 200%.

Those bonuses are still good, but a 100% first bonus and 200% second bonus isn’t the same as a single 300% bonus!

That’s like someone saying, “I’ll give you a €500 discount on a computer”, only for you to discover that the discount is limited to €100 per computer and a maximum of five purchases.

Now that the moaning is out of the way, let’s focus on the benefits of the actual bonuses.

  • First Deposit Bonus = 100% up to €200 (minimum of €20)
  • Second Deposit Bonus = 200% up to €200 (minimum of €50)

Both of these bonuses have a wagering requirement of 40x. It’s fairly low, and the offers in general are fairly good. If they were advertised a little better, I would be a lot happier than I actually am.

That’s not all, either. RocketPlay Casino also offers bonuses every Friday and Sunday, as well as a High Roller Bonus that is capped at €1,600 with a minimum deposit of €350.

The High Roller Bonus is something I can’t praise highly enough. I have repeatedly called for the inclusion of these bonuses as they are incredibly rare.

Some sites swap High Roller Bonuses for Loyalty Programs, which are just as generous. These sites include the fantastic King Billy Casino. However, it’s always good to have that additional bonus, especially if you’re someone who can actually meet that minimum deposit requirement and collect the cash on offer.

Speaking of loyalty bonuses, RocketPlay Casino has one of them, as well. It’s a VIP program that takes players through multiple levels, all themed around metals and elements. These levels begin with Iron, which doesn’t offer any benefits, and it continues through to Diamond Legend, which offers an array of benefits, including a higher rate of points, cashback, and deposit bonuses.

Last but not least, RocketPlay Casino has real money slot tournaments. All members are invited to join these tournaments and can play for a host of cash prizes, bonus credits, and spins. Just click on the “Tournaments” tab to see what’s available at the time, and make sure you follow the Terms and Conditions.

Payment Options

RocketPlay Casino users can make deposits in both fiat currencies and cryptocurrencies. There is a minimum deposit of €20 to €25 for players in Europe and $30+ for Canadians, and numerous payment options are accepted.

Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash are both accepted and they are processed via the CoinsPaid app, which facilitates safe and secure cryptocurrency transactions. If cryptos aren’t your thing, or you fancy a change, RocketPlay Casino also accepts Skrill, Visa, Mastercard, Neosurf, CashtoCode, and more.

Take a look at the table below this RocketPlay Casino review for a full list of all accepted payment methods on RocketPlay Casino.

Before you choose your payment options, pay attention to the minimum and maximum amounts, as these vary from method to method. The minimums are a little on the high side, but they shouldn’t be too much of an issue for the average user. The maximums, however, are a different story entirely.

There is a maximum of €4,000 per transaction and this extends to €7,500 per week and €15,000 per month. It’s not terrible, as there are casinos out there that limit players to just €7,500 per month, but it’s still a withdrawal limit that I would rather not exist.

One of the frustrating aspects of this withdrawal limit is that it exists on a site with a High Roller Welcome Bonus and a VIP Program. It’s like they’re saying, “We want high rollers” in one breath and “but we can’t really cater for them”, in another.

For instance, the transaction limit is less than 2.5x times the upper limit of the High Roller Bonus and less than 10x the monthly withdrawal limit. It’s hardly an enticing prospect for high rollers looking to deposit thousands of Euros at a time.

On the plus side, all transaction are processed quickly. The pending time usually takes just a few hours and is never longer than 24 hours. It means that you should get your funds within a day if you are using cryptocurrencies or web wallets and within a few days if you use a debit card.

User Reviews

RocketPlay Casino does something that all casinos do and something that I have discussed many times, including on my review of Syndicate Casino.

They respond to all reviews.

It’s a small gesture but it makes a massive difference. It shows prospective players that they are listening and actually care. It also gives angry and frustrated players a resolution to whatever issue they experienced. It’s not as common as it should be, but some of the best casinos do it and RocketPlay Casino is one such casino.

Many former RocketPlay Casino players have nothing but good things to say about the site, but there are some bad reviews out there. Of the negative reviews I found on many online casino communities, all had received a response and they were very professional and helpful responses. They didn’t talk down to the player. They didn’t try to fob them off with generic statements like, “Well, our Ts & Cs say that…” and they were very apologetic.

The online casino industry is one of the worst when it comes to companies that don’t always respond to complaints/bad reviews and companies that are often rude and condescending when they do.

The RocketPlay Casino support team deserves a big pat on the back for this one, as does the person who gave them that role in the first place.

The support team is also very professional and helpful when contacted directly. Live Chat is available 24/7 and it guarantees a fast response.

FAQs

Can I Play on Mobile?

Yes, RocketPlay Casino is mobile-friendly. You can play directly through your mobile browser and it’s a very enjoyable and fluid experience. You should be able to play on a multitude of platforms and devices, with only a few rare exceptions.

Can I Use Bitcoin?

Yes! It’s one of the main payment methods available on RocketPlay Casino and it’s also one of the quickest and easiest ways to play. All Bitcoin payments are processed using CoinsPaid, which is a secure, safe, and very fast way to process cryptocurrencies.

How Long Do Withdrawals Take?

It depends on the method that you choose, but it should take anywhere from a few hours to a couple of days. Generally speaking, withdrawals are processed very quickly here.

What Currencies/Languages are Accepted?

The default currency is Euros. However, it will change depending on where you access the site from, and you can choose between a number of different currencies. Unfortunately, the same isn’t true for languages and the site is only available in English. For a full list of all the accepted currencies, see the table below this RocketPlay Casino review.

Can I Play in the UK?

You cannot play this online casino in the United Kingdom. Like most Bitcoin casinos, RocketPlay is licensed in Curacao, and it doesn’t have a license from the authorities of the UK. Don’t worry, though, as there are other sites that are open to UK players, including the excellent SlotsHeaven Casino.

Final Thoughts

Before encountering RocketPlay Casino, I had found and dismissed a huge number of casinos. Even the ones that I liked and the ones that made it onto Coinbuzz were a little disappointing (TebWin Casino is a prime example). Needless to say, I wasn’t very optimistic about RocketPlay Casino, but my opinion changed very quickly and I’m very glad that I found it.

The site is not perfect, but it gets pretty close. It looks great, has lots of impressive games, works fantastically well on desktop as well as mobile, and is generally enjoyable all round.

I agree, Only recently discovered it but it’s better than a lot of the crypto casinos I have played in the past year or so.

I like this one. I wasn’t initially very impressed, but it won me over. I agree, however, that the promotions need work. They are not terrible and I have seen much worse, but there are also many better options out there.

Although I like the site, I don’t really feel incentivized to return and keep playing, but I will certainly keep it on my list and may check back from time to time.
