Mr. Bet has been around since 2017, but only recently did it come onto our radar. The site is owned and operated by Faro Entertainment, which is licensed by the authorities of Curacao. As far as we can tell, Mr. Bet is the only casino operated by this brand, as it’s not a name that we have stumbled upon before.

Mr. Bet has been around since 2017, but only recently did it come onto our radar.

Still, that’s not a bad thing, as several of our highly-rated online BTC casinos are owned by creators with just one or two sites under their belt. It has a lot of country restrictions and there are only a couple of dozen regions in which its services are actually available.

Canada and New Zealand are the biggest of these, and this is where most of its players are located. As far as we can tell, it’s not available in Australia, which is surprising, but if you’re an Aussie there are no shortage of quality casinos for you to choose from.

Great Games Mr Bet

Basics

We’ve had a lot of good and bad things to say about online casino aesthetics in the past. Generally, we dislike the sites that try to do too much and the ones that don’t do enough.

That’s a rather vague way of explaining things but take Cadabrus Casino as an example. It’s packed with features, colour, and promotions. At the same time, however, it looks absolutely fantastic and is one of the best-looking online casinos that we have covered.

On the flip side, you have casinos that don’t do enough and look so empty that you find yourself wondering if the site is even finished.

We have reviewed sites that are somewhat minimalistic and still look great, but it’s far more common for us to stumble across sites that look empty.

So, where does Mr. Bet fit into all of this? Well, unfortunately, while it is packed with features and images, it’s not going in the same category as Cadabrus Casino.

There is far too much going on here.

Firstly, you have a side bar that is fixed, is much wider than it needs to be, and can’t be minimised or stored away. Next to this, the site is layered with different sections, piled on top of one another in a messy tangle.

You’ll be able to find your way around eventually, but it’s very disconcerting at first. There is far too much going on here and they really need to streamline. We’re happy with the features, games, and promotions, and we’ll get to those soon, but when everything is crammed together like this, it just isn’t appealing.

Games

Although we’re not big fans of Mr. Bet’s layout, we’re more than happy with its expansive and varied games room. There are hundreds of games to peruse and these are provided by a host of big-name developers, including Playtech.

Although Playtech is the biggest brand in the iGaming sector, it is surprisingly underrepresented in the cryptocurrency gambling industry. We were delighted to see its games included on Mr. Bet, as it gave us a chance to explore the vast Age of the Gods progressive jackpot series. This series offers some of the biggest jackpots in the industry and takes players on an adventure through the world of ancient Greek and Norse myths and legends.

The original games in this series used Marvel superheroes, but then Playtech lost its license and we saw superheroes like Iron Man swapped for Greek gods like Zeus. In recent years, Playtech has expanded the series with original creations and it has since turned to Norse legends as well as Greek ones.

It is also responsible for game series like Kingdoms Rise, which is equally impressive and is quickly on its way to becoming just as large and well known.

Other star creators include the brilliant NetEnt, which has created top titles like Mega Fortune, Starburst, and Gonzo’s Quest; Big Time Gaming, which created the excellent and hugely popular Megaways mechanic, and Yggdrasil Gaming, responsible for the Vikings go Wild series of games.

It’s a great selection and it’s one that works just as well on mobile as it does on desktop. We’re a little disappointed that Betsoft Gaming was not included on the list, as it’s a common feature on Bitcoin casinos and made for a surprising omission, but if it’s Betsoft that you’re looking for just hop over to Oshi Casino.

If it’s Live Casino games you’re looking for, Mr. Bet also works closely with Evolution Gaming, the biggest name in the Live Dealer sector. This ensures you have a great range of titles for you to choose from, including everything from classic Playtech table games like Switch Blackjack as well as Evolution Live Casino games like VIP Blackjack, Dreamcatcher, and Crazy Time.

Bonuses

Mr. Bet rewards you for your first 4 deposits, giving you a total of €1,500 throughout this time. You’ll get all of the following:

  • First Deposit: 150% up to €150
  • Second Deposit: 100% up to €300
  • Third Deposit: 50% up to €500
  • Fourth Deposit: 100% up to €550

You need to collect the first bonus within the first 5 days of registering your account and once you scoop the sum outlined above you need to clear a wagering requirement of 45x before it clears. That sum applies to the bonus only, which means that a bonus sum of €100 needs to be wagered to a total of €4,000.

Surprisingly, the second, third, and fourth bonus requires a smaller wagering requirement and is fixed at just 40x.

Tournaments

We can never resist a good slot tournament and Mr. Bet has these in plenty supply. They are all labelled as “Battle of Spins” and include a variety of ways for you to win cash playing your favourite slot machines.

At the time of writing, for instance, there is a short slot tournament offering a €500 prize pot to players who collect points playing slots for just €0.50 a spin. The player who finishes at the very top of the leaderboard scoops €100 and there are other cash prizes for players further down the table. And this is just one tournament on one day—there are many more to discover.

It’s a great way to turn those slot spins into big wins. You will still get the money that you win from the actual spins, so the slot tournament is just a bonus. You could argue that these tournaments favour the high rollers and the players that remain active throughout the day and spend the highest sums, but it’s free cash for something you were going to do anyway, so you can’t complain.

Payments

Mr. Bet goes into great detail about the casino’s payment options, currencies, languages, and even the regions it targets. It makes for a refreshing change, as we usually have to figure this information out ourselves. However, there are elements that were clearly written for Google and not for users, and they aren’t very clear.

As an example, the guide on Mr Bet’s homepage goes into great detail about payment options and regions, but the only thing it says about cryptocurrencies is the following,

“Cryptocurrencies have taken over the world in the last decade… Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Litecoin are some of the cryptocurrencies that are continually becoming popular in casinos across the world. However, the NZ dollar and CA dollar are the most popular on our platform.”

It’s like when you ask your indecisive friend whether they want chicken or fish and they tell you about the time they had a dry and chewy piece of cod at a friend’s wedding and then regale you with stories about their great aunt who used to keep chickens.

I’m sorry, but how does that answer the bloody question?

Just like your indecisive friend, we feel like someone needs to pick up Mr. Bet and give it a good shake.

However, we can confirm that Mr. Bet does indeed accept cryptocurrencies. You can deposit money in Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin, but you need to use Bitcoin if you want to withdraw with cryptocurrencies. Other payment methods include ecoPayz, PaySafeCard, and Interac (for Canadians only).

The minimum deposit requirement ranges from $10 to $20 and the minimum withdrawal amount is $20. There are no fees involved for either of these and most payments are processed quickly, with a pending period that typically finishes in just a few hours.

There are a lot of positives here, but don’t get your hopes up, as there is one major negative that can’t be overlooked and that’s Mr. Bet’s withdrawal limit.

It’s not quite as low as the limits seen on Araxio casinos like Rabona Casino and Sportsbook, but it’s not that far off. You cannot withdraw more than €5,000 a week or €15,000 a month, which is pretty disappointing, to say the least.

It means there’s not much of value here for high rollers. After all, if you’re depositing €10,000 in one go, you could be winning and withdrawing over €100,000 at a time, which means it will more than 6 months for you to get your cash.

Of course, that’s a lot of money, but it’s just one example and it applies to the highest of high rollers. Even if you’re depositing €500 or more at a time, you could still become a victim of that limit and means that you need to wait weeks or even months before you see those winnings.

It also makes you somewhat apprehensive to win a progressive jackpot, or even a fixed jackpot. Many of these are paid by the developers, but Mr. Bet wouldn’t be the first online casino to apply its withdrawal limits to its progressive jackpots.

Player Reviews

Mr. Bet has accumulated some very positive user reviews over the last few years and these reviews highlight everything from its friendly customer support to its bonuses, games, and tournaments. There’s a lot to like about this site and we have to agree with most of what these reviewers say.

Of the negative reviews that we found, many seem to complain about the withdrawal limits, which is definitely an issue that we can sympathise with. It’s not something that will impact you as a small stakes player, however, and even medium stake players won’t encounter any problems with such a limit.

More importantly, as regular readers will know, we love it when casinos go out of their way to respond to user reviews. It shows that they care and are willing to go the extra mile. We are happy to report that Mr. Bet got the memo, as it seems to respond to all user reviews—good and bad. It shows a level of commitment that is always good to see and it means that you have an outlet, as a player, in the event that the site doesn’t respond to your complaints and issues.

Final Word

Mr. Bet is not the best casino we have reviewed in the past year. In fact, it would struggle to make it into the top twenty, but we have reviewed a lot of great casinos, so the bar is set pretty high. If we ignore the fact that the casino is a little messy, and has a low withdrawal limit, then it would certainly make it onto our top list. As things stand, it just misses the cut, but is still a very good online casino and one that we would recommend.

If you’re looking for something that has a little more style and is much cleaner with regards to the aesthetic, take a look at Nomini Casino.

If you’re a high roller who typically deposits thousands of Dollars/Euros at a time, you may be better off with a site that isn’t owned by Araxio, DAMA, or other restrictive operators.

Bitstarz online casino is a great example. Not only does it look great and offer a wealth of top features, but it has a massive withdrawal limit.

It’s okay. Not great. I agree with the review but personally wouldn’t score it as highly.

It is a little messy but I still like it. Not one of my faves but I live what it has to offer and just feel it needs a little more.
