What Happened to LadyHammer Casino?
In 2020 I reviewed a site called LadyHammer Casino. Apparently, it was named after a female boxer called Christina Hammer.
In the review, I was highly critical of the theme, noting how there was very little reference to Christina or boxing in general, leaving the name to stand on its own completely out of context. I said the following:
“Imagine if Green Giant didn’t have its iconic mascot, logo, or its famous Jolly Green Giant adverts. You’d be left wondering what the hell those words meant and how they were connected to food. It’s the same story here, only it feels like they have gone to the trouble of finding a relevant connection, prepared to tell a brand story, and then forgot to inform their content creators.”
Now, I am a huge boxing fan. I am actually writing this review with a broken heart after watching AJ lose to the pound-for-pound superstar Usyk. At the time of that 2020 review, I was so excited about the prospect of a boxing-themed online casino, but that’s not what I got.
A few months later, it seems that the operators listened to these complaints and completely refurbished the site. There’s also a good chance that their agreement with Christina ended (maybe she saw the site) and so they changed their approach.
In any case, the result of that refurbishment was Fight Club Casino.
Basics
After my experience with LadyHammer, I was expecting Fight Club Casino to be equally ambiguous and confusing. Thankfully, that was not the case.
Fight Club Casino is everything that LadyHammer should have been. It keeps all of the features that made its successor so great, and it changes all of the things that made it terrible.
The site actually has a combat theme and it’s evident throughout the casino. You will see it on the main page, in the about us, in the promotions, and throughout the games pages. It seems to veer more toward wrestling than boxing, but maybe they learned their lesson with the LadyHammer fiasco and decided to switch sports.
Fight Club Casino is very simply made, but that’s a good thing. It’s easy to navigate and adopts a slick color scheme reminiscent of premium casinos like Bitstarz.
The site is regulated by the authorities of Curacao and it is operated by DAMA, as noted previously.
You can access Fight Club Casino from dozens of countries around the world, but it seems to focus primarily on players from Australia, Canada, and several northern European nations.

The Fight Club Casino Welcome Bonus is spread across your first three deposits with the casino.

In total, the Fight Club Casino Welcome Bonus offers a maximum of €400 and 150 Free Spins.
The promotions don’t stop when the Welcome Bonuses have finished, as there are also reload offers. These vary from bonus to bonus and they typically depend on how much you deposit and what level you’re at in the VIP scheme.
Speaking of the VIP Scheme, it is structured as a series of divisions, with 5 rounds per division. As you advance through these rounds, you will be given more bonus credits and Free Spins.
Everyone is invited to participate in the VIP Program and the more you deposit and wager, the greater your rewards will be.
If you make it all of the way through the Fight Club Casino VIP Program, you will be entered into the Club of Champions. You will also be given a total of €1,675 and 320 Free Spins on your journey. Of course, you need to be a high roller to make it that far, but it’s all relative, and if you’re a small stakes player you can still earn a lot of cash.

Until now, I’ve had mostly good things to say about Fight Club Casino, but there are some issues worth mentioning.
Firstly, it can take up to 3 days for your winnings to leave “pending” status. If you’re using certain web wallets and cryptocurrencies, you should get your cash as soon as those payments are processed. If not, and if you’re using a debit card, you’ll need to wait for up to a week.
It’s not ideal, and it looks very poor when compared to the likes of Pokerstars Casino, where payments are processed within minutes.
The second issue concerns the withdrawal limit, as it so often does. It’s limited to just €5,000 per week and €15,000 per month. As I often note, that amount won’t impact small stakes players and that includes me. However, it essentially rules high rollers out and makes life awkward for those gambling with medium stakes.
For a casino that does so well to offer high roller reload bonuses and VIP promotions, it is disappointing to see such a restrictive withdrawal limit.
The limits can vary depending on your location and your chosen currency, so pay attention to the payment details and other terms before you make your choice. For instance, Canadian players are subject to a minimum of $30 and a maximum of $6,000.

i was not a big fan of the original LadyHammer. I didn’t spend more than a few minutes there and so i didn’t have high hopes for this one. i am glad that i gave it a chance though as i think that they have gone out of their way to create something unique.
It is unlike any other casino I have join with regard to the layout and there are also some great bonuses as well as a loyalty scheme. easily one of th best sites out there right now.
I think the VIP Scheme here is one of the better ones out there if not the best one full stop.
I also like the Fight Club theme although I’m suprised that it doesn’t have anything to do with the film or book. I suppose that would have been an unnessecary expense, not to mentioned a difficult licensr to acquire!
