Thanks to books like World War Z (which was also made into a film) and games like Day Z, when you see that solitary “Z” in a title, you picture zombies and apocalyptic destruction. Or maybe we just watch too many horror films and play too many video games. In any case, with Casino Z, there isn’t a single zombie in sight, and we were both surprised and disappointed when we discovered that fact.
The aesthetic is actually very plain, with a distinct lack of blood, gore, and brain-munching freaks. Our best guess is that the name stems from Zavbin Ltd, the owner of Casino Z. The company is based in Cyprus but its operator, Orakum N.V., is licensed in Curacao.
Casino Z is one of many Curacao casinos that accept Bitcoins for deposits and withdrawals. The question is, where does it fit on our list—is it one of the best or does it fall short?
There is no cohesive theme at Casino Z. Many online casinos launched in the last half-decade or so typically adopt a unique theme, something that allows them to stand out from the masses. These themes range from historic periods to genres of music and more.
We even reviewed an online casino themed around Champagne! If that’s not unique and unusual, we don’t know what is!
Casino Z, on the other hand, doesn’t really any of that going on and is decidedly poorer for it. Unless you class “blue” as a theme, in which case it has nailed it.
The site aesthetic is basically three or four different shades of dark blue, with a little red and white thrown in for good measure. It doesn’t really work for us. We can see what they were going for—it looks like they tried to look prestigious and stylish. But it’s something that doesn’t really work anymore. These days, players prefer casinos that are simple, colourful, quirky or all three.
We don’t want to start our Casino Z review with all negatives, so let’s throw something positive into the mix.
The site is easy to navigate and feels very fast and fluid on both desktop and mobile. It works with a huge number of developers and this creates a seemingly endless list of gaming possibilities, but despite all of that, it’s easy to find what you’re looking for and you don’t need to wade through endless menus or wait for superfluous content to load.
The site is easy to navigate and feels very fast and fluid on both desktop and mobile.
However, we were interrupted a few times by a push notification pop-up. We understand why push notifications exist on mobile, and to an extent, we even understand why they might be used on desktop. But do you really think we want our browsing, working, and video gaming to be interrupted by an online casino we haven’t even joined yet? And do you think we’re happy to make that decision after being on the site for just a few seconds?
Even if we did…what on earth could Casino Z possibly tell us!? It’s not a news site. We’re not waiting on updates about the latest global catastrophe. It’s a casino. It has games. We play them when we have time. We don’t need push notifications to tell us that.
As frustrating as Casino Z can be to navigate, we have to give the owners credit for its gaming roster. It works with a multitude of top creators and this allows it to offer stacks of real money slot machines, including some of our personal favourites.
Furthermore, it doesn’t rely on old and dated games like so many new casinos. It seems that many new online casinos are hosting classic slots that they know players like. These are the games that casual players keep returning to, but as a hardcore player who has spun those reels thousands of times, it can be frustrating to see the same-old games.
Of course, that doesn’t mean that Casino Z ignores the classics, because it definitely does not, but a good chunk of the games in its roster are brand new and that’s very important for us and for players like us.
As always, we were also very happy to see that Betsoft and NetEnt were included in the Casino Z games room. These are our personal favourites, as they produce some of the best-looking games in the business and are the only two developers that get us excited when a new game is being released. Other top developers available here include Pragmatic Play, Quickspin, Microgaming, and Booming Games.
Casino Z’s Live Casino is also extensive. While many sites work with just one or two developers, including Evolution Gaming, Casino Z has over 20 of them. You’ll find extensive Live Casino sections dominated by Evolution Gaming, Ezugi, Authentic Gaming, NetEnt Live, Pragmatic Play Live, and more. You’re spoilt for choice!
For the first time since we reviewed MELbet Casino, we felt a little overwhelmed when faced with the Casino Z Live Casino. It’s like being a kid at Christmas—you’re surrounded by toys, you want to play all of them, but there are only so many hours in the day. And that’s a good thing, because a little variety is always welcome.
All of these games are desktop and mobile friendly. You can play directly through your web browser in both instances, or you can download the desktop or mobile app. It’s been over 10 years since we downloaded any desktop software, and that’s a streak that we weren’t willing to break, but we tried the mobile app and it worked without issue.
However, we still recommend playing through your web browser.
The Casino Z Welcome Bonus offers up to $1,500 and 150 Free Spins to all new members. This is released in the form of a Welcome Package bonus, which is spread across four deposits, offering 100%, 50%, 25%, and 25% respectively. The spins are released in bundles each time and apply to different real money slots. To qualify for these bonuses, you need to deposit a minimum of $15 or €10 for each bonus.
There is a Loyalty Bonus of sorts available at Casino Z, but it’s not very impressive. It offers up to 100 Free Spins and up to $300 as a tenth deposit bonus. This means that you need to make 9 deposits without a reward before that offer finally lands in your lap. Still, it’s free money and it gives you an incentive to keep those deposits flowing long after the Welcome Bonus has gone.
The VIP Cashback program offers much higher Loyalty Rewards and it’s something that all players can participate in. It works through an 8-tier Loyalty Program, not unlike the ones you will find at casinos like GunsBet.
Once you have joined and made a deposit, you’ll be added to the Loyalty Scheme. You start at level 1, known as “Copper”, but you advance through to level 8 with every deposit and wager that you make.
Withdrawals are processed very quickly at Casino Z. Your money should land ion your account in under 24 hours, although it all comes down to the payment method that you use. Speaking of which, Casino Z has a vast selection of payment methods, much more so than we have seen featured on other review sites.
In fact, these other sites are doing Casino Z a disservice, because they state that the casino has less than 10 deposit methods and even fewer withdrawal methods. In actual fact, it accepts 44 payment methods, including Visa, Mastercard, Yandex, QIWI, Skrill, Bitcoin, Perfect Money, ecoPayz, DASH, Litecoin, Dogecoin, and Ethereum, to name just a few.
We actually counted 26 cryptocurrencies in total, which means there are more crypto methods than fiat currency ones. All of these digital currencies are available for withdrawals, as well as deposits, but a few of the traditional currency methods are not, which is why there are “only” 36 of these options in total.
Withdrawal limits are a huge issue for us and something that we seem to mention in the majority of online casino reviews that we write. Such is the case with Araxio Development casinos like Rabona, where the limits are fixed at a measly €500 per day and €10,000 per month. Casino Z, however, doesn’t have such a limit. In fact, there are no limits mentioned on the payment page or the Terms and Conditions.
It could be that there is a limit in place, but that it’s just not mentioned. We wouldn’t be surprised if this was the case, but the fact that it is not mentioned and hasn’t come up in Casino Z reviews, means it’s probably nothing to worry about.
Verification still takes place, but this is generally completed in under 72 hours and for us, it was rushed through in less than a day. It’s something that always deserves praise, even though it should be commonplace considering the technology that casinos have at their disposal and the sheer number of accounts they have verified.
If you’re a high roller who deposits thousands of Euros/Dollars at a time, we recommend contacting the casino beforehand. We tried this and were told there was no limit, but it would be unusual if that was the case. If you push the point that you could be withdrawing tens of thousands at a time, you may get a different answer. And if they give you the same answer and eventually do impose a restriction, at least you’ll have written proof you can point to when presenting your case!
There are a lot of positives to mention here. In fact, it’s one of the few online casinos that left us spoilt for choice where positives were concerned. On top of that, we had very few negatives to address, and if you check our Pros and Cons, you’ll see this for yourself. That doesn’t mean that Casino Z is at the top of our rankings (see our Casino Z review summary for more information) but it’s certainly up there with the best of them.
Some of the highlights of this casino include:

Reviews and Support
There is so much going on with this online casino that we didn’t have space to mention it all. Some of the positives that we overlooked include the many languages. If you’re in a country where Casino Z is legal, there is a good chance it’s available in your native language. Currency options are just as varied, covering players from all countries.
One of the things that we didn’t like a lot about Casino Z is that its customer support is a little slow. We tried Live Chat and it took a while to get a response. After looking at a few Casino Z user reviews, we noticed a few similar complaints.
However, to give Casino Z credit, these negative reviews were few and far between and Casino Z responded to all of them. As noted in many of our casino reviews, including our Syndicate Casino review, this is something we always like to see. It proves that the casino cares about its customers and is willing to go the extra mile to help them and find a reasonable resolution.

Is There a Withdrawal Limit?
As noted in our review, there doesn't seem to be, but it may hit you if you start transferring large sums of money.
We understand that being a great online casino doesn’t require them to go all-out and offer a huge selection of games, bonuses, and accessibility options, but we can’t help but appreciate the casinos that do. We reserved so much praise for MELbet and still refer to it, and now we’re delighted to place Casino Z alongside them in our rankings.
Some players prefer to keep things simple, and we get that. It’s the reason why some of the biggest and best-loved online casinos work with just a few developers and have just a few hundred games. However, the more hardened players, the ones who have seen and played it all, love the sort of variety that Casino Z offers. We’re definitely in that group and if you are as well, this could be the site for you.
It still doesn’t quite give Casino Z the same prestige as previously reviewed sites like Bitstarz, but it’s certainly worth signing up, playing, and spending a few Bitcoins. Just remember to join via the links on this Casino Z review to ensure you get the latest Welcome Bonus.
