- Great Developers
- Nearly 2,500 Slots
- Many Payment Methods
- Crypto and Traditional Options
- Low Withdrawal Limit
- Slow Withdrawals
MadMax Casino is a bizarrely themed, action-packed online casino that crams everything from great payment methods and casino developers to giant sea creatures and pharaohs onto its many pages.
It is wonderfully bizarre and never dull, and you can’t ask for much more in an online gambling site.
It is wonderfully bizarre and never dull
If you’re expecting a casino themed around everyone’s favourite post-apocalyptic bad boy, you’re going to be very disappointed. Not only does MadMax Casino have nothing to do with the films of the same name, but it’s not set in a desert wasteland!
Upon hearing the name, I was expecting a suit-wearing, enigmatic guy akin to Mr. Green. In actual fact, there does seem to be a mascot, but he’s not very prominent.
The imagery on MadMax Casino includes an underwater world filled with the tentacles of a giant squid and the carcasses of shipwrecks, and what seems to be a hot air balloon in a fiery sky. Usually, I complain about sites that have themes that don’t make sense, but this one is generic enough and attractive enough to get away with it.
MadMax Casino is owned by FairGame G.P N.V and it is licensed by the authorities of Curacao. It is available in both English and Russian and has both crypto and fiat payment methods.
On the outside, MadMax Casino is a pretty solid online casino. It’s not fantastic and it’s far from flawless, but it’s good to look at, it clearly has a lot of games, and it’s safe and secure.
But what happens when you dig underneath the surface and start putting this site under the microscope?
Software and Games
MadMax Casino advertises nearly 2,500 slots, and these are provided by a huge number of iGaming developers. It’s a pretty impressive selection and it’s hard to find fault. In fact, it has some of my personal favourite creators, including NetEnt, Yggdrasil, Quickspin, Blueprint Gaming, IGT, and Betsoft, as well as the massively popular Microgaming, Big Time Gaming, Pragmatic Play, and Evolution Gaming.
It means that you will find progressive jackpot slots, Megways slots, bonus slots, and retro slots, along with games that feature mechanics such as Sticky Wins, Roaming Wilds, Rolling Reels, and more.
The MadMax Casino games room is constantly being updated by new slots and you can browse through a number of different categories to help you find your favourites. All of these games are available on desktop and mobile, and in addition to the many real money slots, there are also a few table games and Live Casino games.
The selection is not as vast as I expected or hoped, but it should be enough to keep most players happy. If you prefer Live Casinos and table games over slots, then MadMax Casino is not the site for you. If you’re more interested in playing slots and just want to enjoy the occasional game of Blackjack or Roulette, it could be ideal.
Bonuses and Promotions
All new players can collect a Welcome Bonus of up to €100 and 77 Free Spins. It’s released in the form of a 130% matched offer (a rather odd number) and the accompanying spins are released in an initial batch of 15, with the rest coming in 24-hour intervals thereafter.
The bonus applies to your first deposit only and players from certain regions are unable to qualify. There are other bonuses as well and they are constantly changing. If you join via the link on this page, you will be directed to the latest offer, ensuring that you get the biggest Welcome Bonus available right now.
The most enticing bonus available at MadMax Casino is actually the Loyalty Scheme. All players are invited to join and will earn points when they deposit and spin. These points can then be used to make purchases in the MadMax Casino store. You can buy all kinds of gadgets and gifts, but as is the case with most Loyalty Bonuses, you need to collect a lot of points before you can get anything decent.
For other top online casino Loyalty Schemes, take a look at our review of King Billy online casino, which has one of the best VIP Schemes in the business.
MadMax Casino accepts a variety of traditional payment options and cryptocurrencies, including Skrill, Neteller, Visa, Mastercard, Bitcoin, and Ethereum. You can see a full list of all accepted deposit options underneath this MadMax Casino review. They are also listed at the bottom of the MadMax Casino website, although it’s worth noting that many of these are region-restricted and may not be available to you.
All payments are subject to a pending time that can take anywhere up to 72 hours. It’s a long time to wait to get your winnings, especially when you consider that sites like PokerStars Casino will process them almost instantly, but if you are a verified member and have withdrawn in the past, this time period should be reduced somewhat.
To make sure you don’t miss anything as a loyal player, keep your eyes peeled on the MadMax Casino promotions page. There are occasional offers from time to time and these will help to bolster your balance and give you more of an incentive to play. You should also keep an eye on your points balance and make sure that you spend them when you have accumulated enough points to make a purchase.
I am not a high stakes player. You could be mistaken for thinking otherwise, considering I often complain about withdrawal limits of €10,000 and €20,000 a month.
In truth, I don’t think I have ever withdrawn 5-figures over the course of a single month, and it would take me all year to deposit that amount. I complain about withdrawal limits because they shouldn’t exist.
Nearly all of the casinos that have these limits don’t have similar ones in place for deposits, and when they do, they’ll often say something along the lines of, “We’re limiting you to withdrawals of €10,000 a month, but you can deposit up to €20,000 a day”.
We all know there is a house edge. We know that gambling at an online casino isn’t a coin toss. But we expect a level playing field when it comes to payments and other standard things, and that just doesn’t happen.
Where MadMax Casino is concerned, there is even less of a balance. In fact, the withdrawal limit is so low that I actually have a chance of hitting it, and that’s saying something.
All players are limited to withdrawals of just €2,000 a month.
That might sound like a pretty generous sum, but it’s not.
For example, let’s suppose that you deposit €100 to €200 at a time and play twice a week. That’s up to €800 a week. If you have a 10x win over the course of the month, which is fairly common, it means you’ll have €8000 to withdraw for that period. As a result, you will need to wait 4 months to get your cash, and if you keep playing and withdrawing in that period, you’ll prolong it by another few months.
As a loyal player operating in the medium stake range, you’re forever playing catch up, winning an amount today that may not land in your account until 6 or 12 months from now.

User reviews can tell you a lot about an online casino. It’s not just about the content of the reviews, though. In fact, that’s often the least relevant part of the process, as the positive ones are easily faked (or written by affiliates) and the negative ones are often written by disgruntled players. What is important, however, is how the casino responds to these reviews and whether it takes the time to deal with them.
It’s always nice to see when a casino responds to a positive review to express its gratitude, and it’s even better if they respond to negative reviews to try and resolve the issue. It shows that they are willing to do what it takes to keep players happy, and it gives prospective players some insight into what will happen if they ever have an issue and decide to leave a negative review.
Many casinos ignore negative reviews and even overlook complaints. Thankfully, MadMax Casino is not one of them. It clearly has a dedicated team whose job it is to respond to negative reviews and positive reviews, and they have shown their professionalism in doing so.
It’s something I have talked about in other casino reviews, including my review of Ovitoons Casino, and it needs to happen more often in the online casino industry.
When Was MadMax Casino Launched?
MadMax Casino launched back in 2020. It is owned and operated by a brand known as FairGame. 2020 was a pretty busy year for the online gambling industry and MadMax Casino was one of the many sites that launched during all of this madness.
Can I Use Bitcoin?
MadMax Casino actually accepts a variety of different cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin. Take a look below this review to see a full list. Bitcoins allow you to make quick, safe, and secure payments. You can also make them anonymously, but that doesn’t mean that you can avoid verifying your account and you will still be asked to complete a verification request when you try to make a large withdrawal.
Is It Licensed?
Like most Bitcoin-friendly online casinos, MadMax Casino is licensed by the authorities of Curacao. In the event of an issue that the site does not solve, you can go straight to the regulator, and they should act as a mediator. Of course, that’s not always the case and they aren’t as helpful as you might expect, but if you’re in the right and you persist, you will get what you need eventually.
Can I Play in the UK?
UK players will need to look elsewhere as MadMax Casino does not have a license from the relevant authorities and cannot operate in the United Kingdom. There are many more sites out there that are available in the UK, though. Take a look at our online casino reviews to see a full list, focusing on UK-friendly casinos like Ladbrokes, Mr. Green, Betfair, Paddy Power, PokerStars, William Hill, and other such brands.
Can I Play in the US?
You are not able to join this online casino if you are based in the United States. The US has some very strict laws concerning online gambling and these essentially ban sites like MadMax Casino from operating across the country. There are exceptions for mobile/online gambling in some regions, including the state of New Jersey, but sites need to be registered with the local authorities in order to operate there, and MadMax Casino hasn’t ticked that box just yet.
Like many casinos that I have reviewed here on Coinbuzz, MadMax Casino does a lot right but makes a few big mistakes. It offers many different payment options and works with a number of developers to create a big games roster. It also has a decent theme and can be accessed on mobile and desktop. At the same time, however, it drops the ball when it comes to its payment processors.
Sure, you have a lot of options to choose from, but it takes up to 72 days for withdrawals to be processed and you will also be limited to withdrawals of just €2,000 a month. If you’re a high roller or even a medium roller, MadMax Casino is probably not a good fit for you. If not, and you’re looking for a site that has a big Loyalty Scheme and a high match Welcome Bonus, it’s worth taking a look.
Check the links on this page to join MadMax Casino and collect the latest Welcome Bonus in the process. Just make sure you check the Terms and Conditions of the bonus before you sign up.
